History of Our School

Hebron College is a co-educational institution established on the 22nd September, 2003 for 2003/2004 academic session. She started with just two three bedroom flat on the current site of new building. The school began simultaneously with JSS2 and JSS1 with just eight (8) students.

The school started with nine (9) academic and one (1) non-academic staff totaling ten (10) staff in all.

The session ran between September and July and before it rounded up, the number of students had increased to thirty-eight.

The first Christmas Party took place on 14th December, 2004 with a lot of fun fair. By 2004/2005, workforce had increased to thirteen (13) as against ten (10); with corresponding increase among the students from 38 to 61. The first end of session party took place on 27th July, 2005. The first inspectors from Zonal Educational Office Owode visited the school on the 21st November, 2005 to conduct an approval inspection for the school to function as a JSS school. The team was led by Mr. S. O. Adeosun, others in the team were:

Mr. Olamakinji – the current accountant joins the school on 10th December, 2005.

By 2004/2005 students’ population had shot up from 61 to 128.

In the year 2006, the junior school section was approved by the Ogun state government and in the year 2008, the senior school was approved to present candidates for SSCE, by both the West African Examination Council (WAEC) and National Examination Council (NECO); after being approved by the Ogun State government.  

The Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) registration bears: Unique Hebron Private School. Both Hebron College and Unique Hebron Private School is used interchangeably. 

Ever since then to the glory of God, the joy of the Lord had ever being our strength in Hebron moving from glory to glory had being our daily experiences – the two 3 bedroom flat had metamorphosized to what is now called Hebron College; with zeal and passion for decent achievement through hard work and at an affordable school fees as spelt out by the vision of our proprietor
